Utmost Adventurer (Currently Sold Out. Sorry!) (Expect New Stock by February 2025)
The Utmost Adventurer is a unique fine gold highbanker in that it combines the wide recovery area of a beach box, with the form factor of highbanker.

This hopper is 10” wide while the main sluice is split into two levels for a total recovery width of 20” of expanded metal over backed miners moss. This allows the hopper to get blasted with twice the water flow that is hitting the main sluice. This results in better cleaning action without putting too much water over the sluice box, retaining fine gold.
The highbanker is 38lbs (17.3kg) fully assembled including the spray bar, matting, and legs. Every detail has been meticulously thought out for the best possible field use experience. There are no bolts that can be misplaced, as they all have the threads tack welded to prevent loss. The highbanker sets up and takes down in seconds with no tools required. Just connect the end of your 1.5” layflat hose to the included flexible feed line and level the highbanker using the included bubble levels and you are off to the races!
I have had good results running about 34 GPM (128 liters per minute) but higher flow rates seem to still work well. I have tested this highbanker on the North Saskatchewan River on Alberta’s notoriously fine gold and can feed it as fast as I can shovel without major losses. Black sand content in your area will affect the feed rate, but I suspect 20” wide miners moss recovery will suit most hand mining operations without moving into a bulky and difficult to pack in machine. I pair this machine with a Honda WX15 water pump at about 1/2 throttle and love the combo!

This is what I will be taking with me on my Alberta gold mining trips. The hopper is designed to process clay and organic material better than more high bankers on the market and can not be beat by anything short of a much heavier and more complex trommel.
